| Richard was an Intel
Corporation manager for 10 years. Between 1998-2004, he served
as corporate Public Affairs director. In that capacity, he
managed a worldwide organization with a $19M annual budget
and 100 employees. In 2003, Richard was based in Milan, Italy,
and traveled throughout Europe and Asia to oversee the international
expansion of Intel’s Public Affairs teams and strategies.
Prior to joining Intel, Richard spent 18 years as a broadcast
journalist and news manager in Los Angeles, Portland (Oregon),
New Mexico and Colorado. He received Associated Press and
community awards for his reporting. He holds a J.D. degree
and B.A. in Political Science/International Relations.

Rod founded and managed
Intel Corporation’s Community Solutions Program (2001-2004).
Community Solutions was formed to help communities tap into
the creative applications of Intel technology and solutions.
In its first two years, Community Solutions influenced over
$250M in technology spending around the world to be based
on Intel architecture. Rod holds a Ph.D. in Applied Management,
M.B.A. and a B.S. degree in neuroscience. He has been awarded
several scientific research grants and fellowships from organizations
such as the National Institute of Health and in 2004 was named
as one of two Intel employees to attend Harvard Business School’s
Executive Management program.
